You're smoking some strong shi. A prime Riddick Bowe bested Holyfield on the inside. Povetkin slips well at mid range and dodges well when he's moving out of range and this would certainly trouble Bowe but even Carlos Takam was doing well jabbing in the early rounds and went toe to toe with him for the mid to late rounds and it was very competitive, Takam was catching Povetkin a lot more than you think and rocked him a few times in the pocket, and he also had success going to the body. And Takam is a gatekeeper lets be real here, Nowhere near as good as Bowe in terms of long range boxing or his in fighting. You could legit argue that Bowes head movement is better than Takams as well

The fight will eventually find its way into a brawl and Bowe will grind him down late after a very competitive fight

 

A once undisputed champion in a great era for heavyweight vs a perpetual top 3 contender in one of the worst eras for heavyweight. You are over thinking things if you think Povetkin ever reached the same level as peak Bowe
