ya'll must've forgot. peter lost fights to the klitschkos and a close fight to a motivated chambesr and people are already writing him off. poor povetkin. peter will SMASH him. this fight should be illegal. povetkin is a simple come forward fighter. he will get caught with something and knocked the **** out. povetkin has no movement whatsoever. povetkin struggled with a green, unmotivated eddie chambers.

What would happen if both quit on stool at the same time? Povetkin because of the broken foot from too much running around and Peter because of the broken hand from too many rabbit punches... Would it count a draw or no contest or what?

who has Peter Koed that suggests he will KO Povetkin? Jeremy Williams? Julius Long? Oleg Maskaev?

Peter's power is way overrated he has not KOed ANY of the upper tier fighters he has fought.

Personally i'm not writing him off because of his losses vs the klits & chambers. I just think Povetkin is a legit "contender" material. He's got a top notch workrate..& great combos..and he's consistant.

Well, he caught Wlad in round 10 with a big, legal overhand to the temple, and almost finished him. Wlad looked out of it when he took a knee, but recovered in the round break to continue the pummeling. Povetkin will have much more problems to keep Peter away from him, if Peter doesn't again show up underprepared, fat and unmotivated.

Yeah, Povetkin struggled with Chambers and Peter LOST to him. Strange that you mention Chambers twice to back up your idea that Peter is so superior to Povetkin.

Povetkin struggled with a green Chambers,eh?!! At the time of their encounter Chambers was 30-0 whereas Povetkin had only had 14 fights in the paid ranks before.
Povetkin is a simple come forward fighter,eh! How come that he hasnt lost a single pro fight up to now+that he hadnt lost a single amateur fight for ages before he turned pro.
Peter didnt dare to cross his shadows back then at the amateurs.
    Peter will smash him,eh!
    I dont think so!:nono

This fight could easily be an upset. It depends on which Peter shows up though.

Povetkin is very easy to find and has a tendency to win fights on workrate alone.

Peter is a very similar fighter, but he's bigger, stronger, and hits harder than Povetkin, but if he's outta shape, it's game over because Povetkin's chin will likely hold up and he'll win by UD.

Either way, neither of these guys has any potential to make it anywhere in the upper echelon's of the heavyweight division unless people at the top retire.

I suspect Peter is psychologically damaged goods. I'll bet Povetkin's dedication over Peter's mental weakness. Povetkin by TKO
