Povetkin most probably by UD, i wouldn't rule out Peter by tko if he manages to drop down 10 - 12lbs.

i still think peter has a decent chance to ko/tko povetkin, albeit all abovementioned. not needed and not the best fight choice for povetkin..

Peter drop 10-12? He fought at 239 in his last fight, lowest weight he has been since 2001

Peter has been showing up in great shape for his latest fights, if he keeps it up, I see the matchup with Povetkin as a 50-50 fight. It should be explosive and end up in a mid rds KO.

Getting thuroughly dominated by Vitali and made a quitter must've hurt Peter's psyche, no?

I mean, is he still the same fighter that looked in the mirror pre- Wladimir Klitschko bout and was ready to die for a title? I don't think so.

As much as I hate to say it, and I like Peters personality.. I think he's done at the elite level. He'll be a very nice gatekeeper though and still has some excitement to look forward to, this should be a nice fight.

Peter has zero skills. He has not beat ANY of the better fighters he has fought. He was fed class C and D opponents that had Glass Jaws by Duva to make him look like something he was not. His power is way overrated. Look what happened when Peter actually fought somebody:

Lost every round but 3 to Wlad Klitschko

Struggled with McCline who was not a good fighter to begin with

Lost every round to Vitali Klitschko who had been injured and inactive for 4 years

Lost to Chambers and was not even competitive

If this fight happens Povetkin will embarrass and crush Peter.

Atlas has Povetkin using side to side movement and head movement and has him going more fighting on the inside.

Maybe some did, but Peter lost every second of every round against Vitali, and then made a quitter. Wladimir never quit in a fight, even though his cranium got rattled like hit with the iron 9 against Sanders.

They don't hand out heavyweight champion belts so Peter has something in order to get one, if you think it's so easy to the WBC strap then step in the ring and get cha one too,,hell you don't need any skills,, ZERO

Vitali quit himself once upon a time:deal I don't wanna here about his injury either, hell all he had to do was use his left and jab his way to victory. Danny Williams had a severe injury and fought through his pain and got the knockout

And Vitali is remarkable for coming back mentally stronger after quitting.

Not every fighter can do that, when you quit once, it's easy to do it again when things are not going your way. I am not saying this is the case with Peter, but it certainly tilts that way, or so I am lead to believe from recent showings.

Peter's a great guy, but I just think quitting took something out of him, something he'll never get back, ever.

Time will tell, Chambers was tagging him at will and Peter never quit
