Two brutal punchers with killer left hooks, Morrison with the edge in power, Povetkin with the edge in toughness and combination punching. Who takes this?
Morrison had the quick, hard left hook, Povetkin is better rounded. He has all of the punches and he has some of the best inside skills in boxing regardless of weight division. Povetkin should win.
I think Povetkin would lay waste to Morrison. The P man is such a more well rounded fighter. Better chin also. Povetkin is tougher both physically and mentally. The guy survived with Teddy Atlas as his trainer!
The Duke has his moments over his speed but he will slow down and get put to sleep mid rounds. Povetkin is too tough, hits hard enough, and is just a superior ring general.
Another vote for Povetkin. Sasha can slip and avoid the incoming very well. He might have a few hairy moments early on but by the mid rounds I expect him to be in control and on course for victory.
