WK lost one round to Povetkin. The one in which he knocked Sasha down (again) but the ref took a point from him for it.

 

Damn if I never see povetkin box again it would be too soon. Complete bum.

Wlad got hit by two solid shots the entire fight. Neither did any damage. He finally went from finicky panic during opponent's attack to absolute control. His punch power is unbelievable, his physical strength borders on absurd, and his legwork is phenomenal. Yet he keeps doing that grab and lean, as if it was necessary.

Povetkin is a warrior by the way. He put David Haye to shame today.

 

Why give him any chances? Pov is dangerous on the inside with his combinations.

And though Wlad did his share of holding, as anyone who knows boxing, there isn't much Wlad can do when Povetkin dive bombs his chest.

In addition, it isn't like Wlad is not dishing out punishment. Any other fighter would not have made it 12 rounds. Povetkin has an iron chin.
