There was a press conference earlier today in Moscow with Alexander Povetkin and his new promoter Andrei Râbinsky.

Povetkin is no longer with Sauerland. His next fight will be in Moscow in May. There has been a rumor his opponent will be Travis Kauffman, but that is false. Râbinsky says they are in negotiations with someone else, a "well-known boxer".

    Probably not.

Likely a ranked contender. Maybe Manuel Charr?

Maskaev would be a fun and realistic comeback fight to see. I wonder if they could make a superfight with Valuev?

I did, I got it. The phrasing of that sentence in particular I found humorous. Do you not?

Actually, just recently Marco Huck has been asking fans on his social media accounts of whom the fans want him to fight and the Povetkin share was significant. So in that though it could really be Huck. I hope it is him.

He deserves it and would stand a good chance and I'd be rooting for him to avenge the 'loss'...

...and I really can't stand Huck.
