Finally got to see alexs fight against the tough but limited Javier Mora on eurosport last night. Got to say granted though mora aint that good, he looked great imo. His movement and and ability to attack the angles was ****ing wonderful to watch. The guy will never have the best build, he does look fat in the face, but **** he is a beautiful boxer to watch, **** haye vs wlad or vits, id love to see pov vs haye, two of the best young HWs about, such a pity he hurt his ankle last year and missed his chance at wlad and set himself back, teddy atlas seems to be doing a good job. Bit weird he had to have a translator in there with him, i really did think pov spoke great english, any way mora is a tough guy, and pov finished him really well. Not a massive banger of course, but he dont miss much, moves lovley, can seem to take a punch and not worry about it (though could he take hayes and wlads ?), and is a fun guy to watch, for others who may have missed it heres the fight, mora is one brave ****er, he got his faced mashed, the guy must just love to fight, no matter what happens to himself The single shot he puts him down with in round one was lovley, and the combo to finish him was really great, nice punches, the guy dont seem to rush things and has a nice calm way about him Any way glad hes now back, and heres hoping he now steps it up and goes for the top men, the man imo would give any one trouble. Hes easily my fav youngish heavy about by a mile, glad hes got other his bad times. Not really important that he won easily, he just looked really good imo. Of course mora aint great, and could he fight with the same freedom against the top men ?, just like his style and would love to see him fight haye or someone like that, he aint got no new fights listed on boxrec yet, any one have any ideas when he fights or against who next ?
I like Povetkin 2. But if he gets hit like he did in the chambers fight by one of the Klitsckos game over.
Its a possibility of course, but he will i reckon really try to engage them unlike so many of there last fights, and if he gets close he has some nice punches, not saying he would or can win, but id say he had a chance, of course remember iggy KOed mora in 1 and got wiped out by wlad, so it could all be bollocks haha
