sorry if this has been posted, but damn this was too good! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZETxUpsuaw[/ame] and my thoughts . . . you know this fight can go either way, devon definitely is much more of a conventional boxer, nice jab, good footwork/balance, good combinations and right uppercut, all around very skillful and athletic, now bradley is just very raw, he digs in deep and taps into his '6th sense' ima call it and FINDS a way to win, he takes you out of your game and has many different modes to his game plan, however he has been somewhat inactive lately it seems . . . . . im not sure if this is the best timing for bradley because of this, i might be wrong but bradley just seemed a bit 'flat' his last fight at 147, i think bradley has a big ego and thought he could hang at the welter weight. . . not happening, sure hes a training machine but putting on the extra weight, and now having to lose it is going to affect bradley negatively . . . no matter what, we will see that raw, digging deep bradley, but will he have the pop? . . . . . . . alexander struggled last fight vs kotelnik but that was a bad style fight in facing kotelnik, but it also proved that devon has a solid chin, great stamina, and an IRON WILL, he is a warrior. There is no better timing than for Devon to come out strong vs a very stand up boxer in kotelnik, bring those beautiful boxing skills of his, use them angles and uppercuts vs in my opinion a slightly inactive and 'flat' looking bradley. I just see Bradleys rough house tactics being very ineffective vs someone like Devon. Bradley may have just bitten off more than he can chew this time around and this might come bite him in the ass. I'll still hold my prediction for when i see the weigh in a bit skewed but overall my thoughts. . . what yall think?
I got Bradley UD. If it goes the distance, 80% chance Bradley wins. If it gets stopped, 80% chance Alexander wins. On a random side note, this fight should be for the Ring title, as it's between #1 and #2/3 and the winner will undoubtedly be THE GUY at the division. So why wouldn't that qualify?
i was almost sure bradley would take this as well, but something tells me its not the best timing for him, it just feels wrong now, maybe im just warming up to devon now but im getting way pumped for this fight now, its been too long since ive seen these two in the ring!
That happens a lot on ESB. It's because some admins here aren't impartial and have fighter bias so ban folk who they have personal grievance with. I guess it's alot like police abuse of power but what can you do? Anyway this'll be a great fight!! I'm still undecided
I'm sorry to interrupt but Alexander is not even a highly skilled boxer. Bradley is skilled but not on an elite level. As for Alexander, i see him as one of the many HBO hypejobs that would soon be exposed. for the last time, HBO has invested millions of dollars on many boxers that will never live up to their reputation- Ortiz, Berto, Jermain Taylor (to a certain extent and probably the most successful amongst these hypejobs), Dawson, Angulo, Juan Diaz, campbell and guzman. Alexander is definitely going this route. I laughed out hard each time i hear HBo hype him like "he's one of the best boxers and most skilled fighter today" lol. Andre berto as much as i hate him, i rate him way higher than alexander. America must've been so nostalgic for the era when american champions face each other in the ring. hagler-hearns, leonard-hearns, leonard-hagler, etc. but bradley-alexander will never come close to that, not when one is a mere hypejob lol, someone manufactured to fit the billing. Finally, Amir khan will definitely beat these two guys.
I agree alexander is not the future of the sport. However nobodys talking about that here. HBO will hype him but we know he ain't no Floyd jr. But he still has the skills and warrior heart to beat a timothy bradley or amir khan
thankfully bradley has the professional spirit to fight even when he has flu. he's not afraid to risk his 0. he is a true champion and a very hungry fighter who likes to prove himself. sadly, he lacks something in the power dept. and looked average against abregu. He should stay at 140, his fight with Khan would be big. he has the will to win but Amir has all the talent and a great corner.
cunningham is a piece of ****...pissed on? Nice class. Im glad no one told him he had a piece of not on the side of his nose lol
Wait foe the weigh in??? What is this the heavyweight division where you have to wait and see if a fighter comes in 20 pounds over weight
For some reason, not sure why, but Alexander looks like Holyfield a little bit. It doesn't quite make sense, but for some reason, he looks similar in my mind.
