    Round 5

Ustinov pushes Gavern into the ropes with a jab. Long clinch. Gavern drags Ustinov back to the middle of the ring, hauling with all his might. Damn, Gavern is kind of strong. Especially where he's obviously got a bit of fatigue. Nice combo upstairs by Gavern, and a bit of defensive head movement to stay off the long slow Ustinov jab. Gavern is pumped up, banging his fists together. Gavern is standing in front of Ustinov, taking baby steps in either direction and ducking whenever Ustinov even starts to unroll a jab. Ustinov comes forward and stretches his left arm halfway only to have Gavern zip underneath and pop him with an up-jab. Ustinov's gum shield is out. Gavern heaves on the ropes during the break. Time in. Gavern dives against Ustiniov with a high right hand. Ustinov catches him in a bear hug and squeezes. BIG left hook by Ustinov, slow and ducked. Jab to the forehead by Ustinov, with Gavern ducking and moving his right hand up to intercept but still getting knocked back a step as it brushes his temple. Jabs to the body from outside by Gavern. A little flailing up at the head as Ustinov bears down on him. Gavern plugs the body.

    10-9 Gavern

    48-47 Ustinov

:think Very surprised nobody else gave Gavern the fifth. He landed even more cleanly than he did in the 1st - although his tiredness caused him to get hit more as well. (and even Ustinov's clubbing blows that don't land totally clean are having some visible effect on him..)

    Round 6

Ustinov throws a wide jab and a curling right hand from outside, all slow and missing badly but carrying him in to fall atop Gavern. The smaller man keeps pumping his arms down low, trying to flurry into that big kettle drum and back Ustinov up. It's like punching a fat tree, no effect. Clubbing rights by Ustinov as he pushes in. Gavern dives low with rights to the body but is missing now and just washing up against Ustinov's belly. Gavern is very tired. Ustinov manages to pin him on the ropes and get off a combination while Gavern is ducking.

    10-9 Ustinov

    58-56 Ustinov

    Round 7

Gavern is circling around the perimeter now, trying to rest up. Ustinov jabs at him from too far away, slow and flicking. Ustinov tries a sweeping body hook, again not judging distance well. He almost corners Gavern and clubs at him. Gavernis responding poorly to even blocked and glancing shots. Overhand right to the back of the head by Ustinov. Gavern drops to a knee. He complains of the blatant rabbit punch but the ref ignores him. 1-2 to the face by Ustinov. Gavern down again. Up immediately. He slumps over the top rope while the ref counts in his face. He gets up at nine. Left hook to the body by Ustinov, Gavern down AGAIN.. Count started, abandoned. Gavern wasn't getting up anyway. That rabbit punch ****ed him up badly and he never recovered. :verysad

    TKO!
