Suppose this means we'll be seeing Brook-Purdy in September if he doesn't lose too badly, can barely contain the excitement...

Good luck to Lee though, big chance.

Not a great fight, but a great oppertunity for Purdy who lets face it if he didn`t try to grab this chance he would be a fool. This could be the ony title shot he will ever get so take the chance and try to make a name for yourself. He isn`t an unbeaten hotshot whos shot has come to early against a monster puncher so why not

Eddie Hearn has really delivered for his fighter here, fair play to him.

As for those slagging Alexander "**** fight" etc, Alexander HAS to make a mandatory defense of his title.. that means fighting the highest available ranked opponent.

When Ricky Burns v Jose Gonzalez gets made, you can blame Hearn, you can't blame Gonzalez promoter.

In this case Hearn is not to blame. He has done a good job for his fighter.

Well when Kell's little piggy went of to market.

Eddie was dreaming of Purdy-Alexander, the whole world said no, everybody involved in the fight said no. But Sir Eddie started getting some ideas, some brain farts and he said yes.

He is 110% behind Purdy, and Purdy loves it.

    AND THE NEWWWWWWWWWWW
