It doesn't matters. Only for westerners money is every thing and they are thinking that they might buy respect with their paychecks.
    Wrong.
Pov definitely should had retired when he was 37 and he then already had get good $ for fighting.

It is like Ali, Tyson, Holmes, Patterson when they continued to fight when were over the hill in depth.
Nothing wrong, for western boxers it is not about paychecks, yeah.

Eddie Hearn is a slime ball, that's all there is to it. But Povetkin took the fight, so he has himself to blame if he had post COVID syndrome. The money must have been really good....

Had Povetkin to be knocked rounds 1-6 at 10/11, easy with hindsight but that was an absolute steal.

Or the counter offer for more time to recover must have been really bad in comparison.

Good thing is...Wilder once again is left with nowhere to hide. If he wants his title back, he'll have to go through Whyte first. It'll be interesting to see what happens from here.

If Whyte & Wilder fights are good maybe thay could have 2 fights also,it's a fight that would sell.

Also, in fairness Povetkin looked awful in the first fight before he landed that uppercut

He looked better but pretty bad, I agree. I have no idea how some people thought that fight was even or Pov was up.

DAZN commentary absolutely correct, should have counted him on the ropes. Some awful officiating this evening. Wardley leg sweep, shame as Lyson is normally a great official.

Do you think eddie paid him more than he had earned from all his fights?

He most likely might had retired and turned into gym business after fight vs Huck for example.
Okey, for westerners more $ means everything but for health and career there are other things to use to earn more money.

Povetkin reminded me of Rahman when he fought Wlad.

    Revenge is revenge though............

its got nothing to do with covid and everything to do with money
both fighters probably took a career high payday tonight with minimal expenses
In normal circumstances no way they get away with this as a PPV main event
Pov is done and he took the pay cheque then see you later
