I have a feeling it'll go the same as last time.

I said it would either be a feint and then an overhand right or an uppercut the first time, he was so cognizant of the overhand right, he was able to be psyched out for the uppercut, now he'll be so cognizant of the uppercut, he'll be taken out with the overhand right.:sisi1

Okay, this is gonna blow your mind, man. Whyte's middle name is actually Dapidranovich. His dad's name is Dapidran. It's just crazy insane.

Povetkin is shot to pieces. Honestly, I doubt he has more than 3 good rounds in him against any half decent strong heavyweight. That was evident in August. But he still sparked Whyte out.

    It could go either way.
I want Povetkin to win. Not because I have anything against Whyte as a man or as a fighter, but I'm sick of the way SKY/Matchroom build the narrative around him of the long-avoided 'super contender' when he's just a little above a British-level fighter with a couple of controversial/close wins over second-tier contenders (Parker, Rivas) on his record.
The fact that this "final eliminator" had a rematch clause is ridiculous, but it's a decent fight anyway.

as in outboxes him. Benn has improved but is still limited

if whyte wins does Povetkin have a rematch clause in place?

Have we ever had a trilogy for an eliminator before? I’m guessing @IntentionalButt or Christian would know? @CST80

I want Povetkin to win but I suspect Whyte will do the job. Sasha is positively ancient in boxing terms.

Whyte will go even faster this time. 3 months is too quick a turnaround after getting Ktfo so savagely.

Now you've got me wondering/racking my brain (somewhat tangentially) about whether there has ever been an eliminator (or title fight) that ended in a draw, only for the rematch to also be a draw... necessitating a third match just to reach a finite conclusion with a winner. :eyebrow2:

I’d love to see Pov win again, but I think Whyte will fight super negative behind the jab and outlast him. If he gets sloppy he’ll get KTFO again.

Damn, wish him a speedy recovery. Jan 30th seems a bit optomistic from Hearn.
