Alexander vs Maidana could happen next in august.

The funny thing is that Bradley said he was more than willing to fight Alexander in the summer. Cunningham said he wanted Devon to fight someone else in the summer and that the match could be made in the fall/winter. Bradley then secures a fight with someone else, and then Cunningham comes back and says Bradley is ducking his guy.

 

Maidana is tough If Devon cant KO him he will need to Box all Night. I have a feeling Maidana is Dangerous untill he hears the Final Bell.

 

Alexander would make Maidana look absurdly slow.

DKP wants the fight because Alexander would get another good scalp. Golden Boy wants the fight so that Amir Khan no longer needs to face Maidana.

 

Devon is going to box this dude silly.

 

I like Maidana. He is a true warrior.

However if i was Golden Boy i probably would not put him in there with Alexander. That is the worst style match up for him. Even Bradley who im a huge fan of is a better options since Bradley has the weaker chin.

The thing about Maidana though is he is pretty damn fast for a Brawler. His punches carry genuine KO power and his speed is not Urango slow. He is no Camacho but he has pretty quick hands.

I hope Maidana gets matched up with some of the other top 140 pounders first.

Why the hell doesnt HBO throw a 140 super six? This would be the best tournament. It would surpass the one at 168 because of the talent level at 140.

 

I think he is going to stop him around the mid rounds.
Maidanas chin isnt all that solid. He has the heart to keep getting back up but Alexander has some good pop too.

 

I think Alexander would outbox Maidana over 12

 

Good fight both fighters they need a big fight/Good money and Devon and his handlers are ready to take on anyone at 140, its good for boxing.

I hope GBP think the time is right by the end of this year for Khan to fight the winner of this fight or fight Bradley.

 

Alexander knocks him out IMO. Different class.

I'd love to see this fight! I gotta favor Alexander, but Maidana's guaranteed to to give fans their money's worth win or lose. Hopefully it goes though. :happy
