    So far Porter is winning!!!

Alexander has a worst cut on this fight at the moment compared to his fight with Timmy but he hasn't quit yet!!!

Most people thought that Porter would lose due to his first fight with Julio Diaz, but Diaz gives everyone problems including Amir Khan. The key to beating Alexander is a stiff jab and volume punching, Khan should have taken this fight and he would have looked very good.

I'm curious, how does this frame Khan's bout against Diaz now? Diaz was obviously competitive with Porter in their first bout. Everyone was saying how bad Khan looked against Diaz, which is difficult to dispute. However, Khan still pulled out the win against a guy who was EXTREMELY competitive against a CURRENT belt holder (Porter). In addition, Malignaggi dominates a guy (judah) who was very competitive against Danny Garcia. In the end, at the world class level, there is very little room to make mistakes. I personally feel that Khan presents some challenges to Mayweather, that we haven't seen in a while. However, this night belongs to the victors. Congrats to Malignaggi Porter and Lara for excellent performances tonight. Let's not forget when we talk about these world class boxers that they are all very capable talented fighters.

Beat Judah, Maidana, Malignaggi which are looking better and better as the years pass by....competitively lost to Peterson (many thought he won), and beat bad by Garcia after schooling him the first 3 rounds. He sucks! just stick a fork in him because the keyboard warriors said so! In fact, let's make sure he never fights again because the fights we saw tonight are much more entertaining! Maybe we can watch mayweather fight another batch of slow, plodding fighters that will make him look like he's 25 years old again!

My point is, Khan is a world class fighter that has beaten world class competition. He's had some hiccups along the way (just like the majority of most fighters). I wouldn't mind seeing him against mayweather personally but of course not everyone agrees.

Khan's 'hiccups' are fundamental flaws that he cannot fix, he gets wobbled by every puncher he faces, he has zero chin and crap defence. The only good thing about a Mayweather fight is we get to see Khan knocked out again.

Against opponents with the right style for him, even world class ones, Khan can look good. For example, he beat Malignaggi easily in a speed matchup because he was not only longer and faster than Paulie, but also had the safety of Paulie's lack of power being unable to dent his weak chin. However, when faced with a pressure fighter with a decent punch and decent chin and/or a fighter with good timing, Khan has either struggled massively or lost badly because he's all speed, he's a very sloppy fighter if you can get past his speed and while he has heart, his chin is weak. There's just nothing there to threaten Floyd, the only question about their fight is whether or not Floyd can get a highlight reel stoppage with his safety-first style vs Khan's chin. And Khan hasn't had a significant win since Judah in 2011. So he's not deserving at the moment at all relative to some of the other choices Floyd could have made(Garcia, Bradley, Pacquiao, Martinez, GGG, Lara), and possesses no threat value to boot.
