    Give it to him.

So Alexander will be happy not to fight again until the fall of 2012?

He should fight Ortiz next, winner fights Berto (since Berto should be ready to go by then)

    This.

He'd have to wait until November-ish to fight the Ortiz/Berto II winner.

Unless he would be willing to face someone else in June/July himself. In that case, I am all for it. I'd be all for an HBO card such as Alexander vs. Carson Jones or Zaveck, along with Broner vs. somebody.

I'd be curious to see Ortiz-Alexander. Ortiz is not as crude and slow as Maidana, so it should be a more even matchup.

If Ortiz fights at his best, he could definitely pressure Alexander more effectively, Alexander should still have the handspeed advantage though, and he'll be throwing mostly straight shots while Ortiz does love wider, round punches.

Of course, Ortiz being the headcase that he is, he'd probably find a way to mess it up.

Don't know why, but I'm just not sold on Alexander. I think he loses to both pretty cinvincingly.

I think Alexander gets his ass kicked by both guys. People are once again drinking the kool aid even though Devon got his ass kicked by Kotelnik, Bradley, and Matthysse before the Maidana fight. Short term memories around here.
