Watch the fight again. Alexander got his ass whooped. Khan's KO is in the past because he has moved on and beaten better fighters and has move up a level. **** Pac got KO'ed 2 times early too and look where he is now and those who knocked him out?? See what I mean?

Playing the ***** ass race card again huh?? Alexander is still being highly rated even tho he got beat by kotelnik. Give me another example of this Black fighters are held at a higher standard or ho other races are held at lower standards?.

You act as if a young fighter gets a close decision, or in your opinion loses a close decision...this somehow makes him a BUM or Overrated. Question: What would be your impression/opinon of Alexander if he got KTFO within the first minute of round 1 by a lesser fighter? Because is obvious of your opinon of him after fighting a close decision fight. And what would be your impression be of Alexander if just went 12 rounds and got hit repeatedly and totally gassed by round 7? I would image that "in your opinion" he would be A BUM...RIGHT? Can you tell me why Alexander and Berto Have to win every round of every fight and look sensational while doing so, just to get credit from Fight Fans. But if they have a close fight that could've went either way (within their first 23 fights)...that means they're BUMS or OVERRATED. Why is this? But when Khan gets KTFO or looks awful in a fight...it's because he was a young fighter still learning. Alexander and Berto (and other "like them")can't get that kind of justification. They have to be SENSATIONAL immediately...RIGHT OUT THE WOMB, because if they're not....OVERRATED/BUM/OVER-HYPED!!!

yeah, only thing that makes him lose prestige is that he got KTFO in 1 round by an unknown

It has nothing to do with race, man. The people who say Alexander is a bum, or overrated are people who have either never liked him, or havn't been fond of him.

In my opinion, he just lost against Kotelnik...which doesn't mean he is a bum, but it does say that he was being hyped up a fair bit to be more than what he showed that night.

If it had anything to do with race, the same people who are calling Alexander a "bum" or "overrated"...would surely not be supporting or picking Bradley to win.

I think you're a good poster, but your posts are starting to become very repetitive...just like the 'casual fans' and 'trolls' you seem to be targeting your posts at.

  5. I think khan was ridicculed enough after the prescott ko. He kind of redeemed himself when he beat maidana who is a heavy hitter pressure type and therefore a bad style matchup for him.
Alexander lost to kotelnik, if he beats a good counterpuncher as lets say marquez at 140 I woul give him great respect because he beat someone that should own him based on styles. I dont see the racial bias at all.

I do think it's amusing how Alexander has one bad performance against Kotelnik and he's labelled as "over-rated", "hype job" or he's been "exposed".

Just because Alexander had trouble with Kotelnik and Khan pretty much shut him out doesn't mean ****. Look at the whole "Cotto beat Mosley, lost to Margarito, but Mosley beat Margarito". As they always say "Styles make fight's".

Khan did well in his last fight but he was far from impressive, if someone like Bradley or Alexander had Khan in trouble like Maidana had, in all honesty they'd of probably finished him as they're much better at putting punch's together than Maidana is, who swang like a wild man when he saw Khan was in trouble.

IF Alexander beat's Bradley (and i say IF), and then he fight's JMM over Khan, then start bitching at Alexander, but until that happens nobody can say **** really.

I maintain my earlier opinion, that this doesn’t exactly constitute as a ‘duck’. But with Cunningham continuing to come out with comments like these, it’s getting harder to convince otherwise. Devon also appears to be getting a lot of flack lately, and I think it’s generated from the attitude of his trainer. Which is a shame, because Devon himself seems like a nice guy.

Alexander and his trainer are thinking about Khan a lot considering they have to deal with Tim Bradley next.

  10. Its not that bad when I think about it, it will be the same when alexander wins only they will decide to face marquez. I think marquez beats alexander and then he will be pitted against khan by goldenboy for the unidsputed 140.
I prefer the bradley route though.

if he was a "bum" he wouldn't have picked himself up after the prescott demolition, redeemed himself, and be in the position he is now.

    don't generalise.

Hey, you guys have every right to believe what you choose to believe...AS DO I!!!! However, I have History on my side....because this is not the first time and will not be the last!!! THIS **** HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS. Now for the record (it's a damn shame that I have to say this part) I am not saying nor have I ever said that one particular race/culture is better than anyone else nor worse. I am simply saying that there seems to be a rush to call "some" fighers BUMS/OVERRATED/HYPEJOBS when they have a tough/close fights and/or get knocked-down and GOD-FORBID lose a fight. While "other" fighters get all kinds of excuses and/or benefit of the doubt saying **** like: "He's still young and learning" - "He's doesn't have a good trainer" - "He only has XX Fights" - "He wasn't handled properly" and much more bull****.

Example: I simply said in a post, that David Lemieux needs to step-up and fight some tougher competition that will make him "Go Rounds"...That's all I said. And immediately here comes all the excuses and pampering. "He's only 22" - "He only has 25 Fights" Blah Blah Blah. Yet Alexander is just 23 with 4 Less fights. So he has to be trown into the fire early and quicker agianst tougher competition and when he doesn't look sensational...he is therefore A BUM!!!! Look...all of you can like or dislike a fighter for any ****ing reason...it's your prerogative. But All I am saying is...why is everyone arbitrarily choosing to like a fighter for a list reasons and/or set of standards, yet chooses to HATE-ON another fighter for those exact same list reasons and/or set of standards..and at times, placing a HIGHER STANDARD on a fighter by expecting him to DO MORE just to get the same amount of credit????

Don't get mad at me for CALLING IT LIKE IT IS!!!!

  13. I think your wrong about your view of peoples opinion on these guys.
They want lemieux vs martinez of cours people will say he is a kid dont put him in there yet, martinez would eat him up.
Alexander fights goed on his own age and level on the top of 140, its really great and therefore they want to see him fight the best there because they are considered about the same level.
If lets say alexander was in the 147 division people wouldnt say put him i9n there with pac/may. of course we want to see it but everyone knows he isnt ready yet. same way amir khan isnt ready for mayweather but people still want him to face him.
Another example, danny jacobs got knocked out by pirog of course people will say ow he got exposed hypejob bum, same way as it was with khan. If jacobs puts a string of win together and becomes champion people will say he just got matched wrong or pirog got lucky, who knows but he wouldnt be written off at once for the remaining part of his career. Losses are overrated and fighters can redeem themselves.
