Alexandro Santiago captures the WBA Fedelatin belt at 122 lbs

The former WBC Bantamweight champion Alexandro Santiago "Peque" now 30-5-5 (16KOs) defeated Ismael Garnica Gordillo "Sapito" 14-6-3 (6KOs) by TKO in the 8th round, Alexandro Santiago has therefore secured his place in the Super Bantamweight division by capturing the WBA Fedelatin belt.

If Alexandro Santiago make one defense of his WBA Fedelatin belt at 122 lbs, he can be against Ramon Cardenas (the former Inoue's opponent) who is ranked #1 challenger by the WBA or eventually against Alan Picasso Romero (also a former Inoue's opponent) who is ranked #5 for the belt, or even the undefeated mexican 22-0 (16KOs) Celex Castro who is ranked #2 for the belt.

Alejandro Santiago could therefore, with this belt, offer himself another big fight at 122 lbs, 2 years after losing his WBC world belt against Junto Nakatani at 118 lbs.
