ROFL All you fools hyping this guy up, almost did get to me but it didn't. :yep Mainly Odo and TFFP. Anyways I haven't seen the fight but I find it funny. Most of you guys find some unproven kid with a good amount of knockouts and calling him the next big thing. And yea, I learned a lot, especially from the Marco Huck days on how everyone was saying he would KO Adamek and even Cuningham. I knew a matter of time before Alexeev would lose, but Id at least thought he would beat this Ramirez guy. So how bad did he get beat?
Wow, the fight recap makes it sound like he got knocked around the ring a bit. Alexeev looked a good fighter against his limited opposition and has the amateur pedigree, but this is a bad loss against a no-name opponent. Gonna be a long road to the top from here.
Apparently this Ramirez guy is suppose to be really good. Well, at least thats what the Alexeev fans will probably start saying. :hey
He is totally unknown here on ESB. He beat the crap out of Alexeev. Another overhyped European fighter.
As an example, ESB posts like this almost ensure it ... "I can only judge Alexeev, who is already an elite fighter, so based on his precise punches and superb power, I'm picking him to win by TKO.":yep http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EnTTYP2C70
The topic title says "Alexeev lost?" Not a David Haye topic. Seriously, I was just fed up with all this Alexeev talk. Everytime I(or anyone, but mainly me) made a topic about a cruiserweight fight, or a topic that deals with the cruiserweight division, all these Alexeev fanboys would came in by storm and started saying like "Alexeev will clear out this division easy" or in a topic that has nothing to do with Alexeev: "(Boxer A) is gonna beat (Boxer B) but I think Alexeev KOs them both." It was rather annoying and Odo was one of the main ones. This was constant too. At least now maybe I can get some peace. :yep These fanboys brainwash a bunch of posters into thinking Alexeev would actually beat anyone in the cruiserweight, and KO at that. Even tho he was pretty much not really proven anyways. Kinda like what the Huck fanboys did. Saying he would KO Adamek, Cunninham, practically anyone. I think the Alexeev fanbase has overpassed the previous Huck one tho. Another example would be like in the lounge too. I make a worlds strongest man topic and all these Savickas fanboys come out of ****in no where. :tired
Seems like pretty much big cruiserweight prospect has been upset on their wat up lately - Williams, Fields, Hernandez and now Alexeev. I'll admit I drank the kool aid on him and I was wrong. From the clip, it looks like Alexeev was completely out of gas. We'll see if it was an early-career mistake or if it's a long-term problem. A lot of guys don't have their stamina built up enough yet at this point in their careers. This also makes Ramirez a player to watch. Was a HW until really recently, undefeated at cruiser against guys with relatively shiny records (but who are also no-names). My favorite from his record is his no-contest, which ended because, together with his 330 pound opponent, "The ring crumbled by the weight of the boxers and the referee". http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=352748&cat=boxer
Kind of like with Huck but at least they didnt crown Huck Undisputed P4P Future ATG....no one can hold a candle to Alexeev(Odo).
Victor Ramirez apparently rocked Alexeev several times in their fight. I too think he is a player to watch, especially now that he has the WBO interim belt. He could very well upset Enzo by KO, though if the USS-Macca fight happens, Cunningham will probably block the WBO rounte off for Victor Ramirez (he knows how to handle pressure fighters for 12 rounds).
