here you have, live on free to air national tv , main event 2 women jockeys boxing, and they are being watched by a bigger tv audience and getting more recognoition in 1 fight than if you combine every single male american boxer who fought on a HBO ppv event last year .

HUGE upset by a totally unknown fighter. But being totally unknown and having an unnoticable record doesn't mean anything when the bell rings. The cab driver was a stupid comment.

 

I had Menzer winning 97-95 - pretty good fight for women boxing...

alekseev could pick up a belt in the future, but he will not be THE dominant cruiserweight. first of all, his punch resistance is not that great, he got tagged as early as in the first round and he didn't like it. i'm not sure about his punching power either, in the past he seemed to be a pretty decent puncher but yesterday there was no snap whatsoever in his punches. obviously he also needs to work on his stamina.
he could beat maccarinelli (50/50 fight for me), but he has no chance vs. haye, adamek or jones.
