Nah, I dont think so. Him and Mick Dowling saying Khan was ''afraid'' of McCloskey was cringeworthy to say the least.

    :huh

Why? Hyland's not going anywhere anytime soon. I wouldn't want to see a possible future 'world' champion derailed by someone who would be extraordinarily lucky to win a European title.

When I made this thread the fight was confirmed, surprised Paulie would seemingly have agreed and then pull out. I hope Acosta has a good opponent though, no point in stepping down a level after beating Faccio so impressively.

Gary Hyde didn't make it sound like money was the issue. He had a bit of a disagreement with Hyland on FB basically saying his dad pulled him out because he didn't fancy it, not because the money wasn't right. He's right aswell, terrible match making for young Paulie to go in against Acosta after getting a hiding from Casey. And if he's going to be fed to someone, he should fight Frampton as that would be a main event and he'd get a nice pay day from it.

I've seen Alexie a tonne of times now and I've yet to see him get out of first gear. I'm really impressed by the guy. A friend of mine has sparred him and Bernard Dunne, and he said the difference in class was phenomenal ( with Acosta being the one with the higher class).

Acosta v Frampton could be a potential superfight in the future.

Acosta would want to sort out his punching technique a bit(and stop slapping) if he was to be involved in a tear up with brick-fists. I think Frampton has the perfect style to deal with someone like Acosta, and would break him up.
