Fayfer is still fighting mind range while Papin is trying to close the gap. Papin is fighting too squared up, he is very open to hooks. It was a closer round, but Fayfer did more.

Nooooo.... Papin is very exciting with a ton of potential. Fayfer is solid but so bad to watch.

 

Round 3

Fayfer now adding an uppercut when he starts throwing hooks. Papin still looks like ass. Needs to step it up.

We could be entering a nightmarish scenerio where this guy spoils his way to the top of the CW division if he waits for Briedis and Dorticos to age. Makabu had a very hard time with Papin and so far Fayfer is having his way with him. Not a good sign.

 

Round 4

Fayfer in dominant form so far. Hitting up and down, blocking and ducking most of Papin's shots. If this goes on, Papin could get stopped.

Papin was in much better shape against Makabu. Papin just looks off now.

 

I don't doubt it but I had a bad feeling he would struggle here.

 

Guys, you should understand that Russian punchers like Kudryashov, Papin, Kashinsky are VERY limited. They will always get exposed badly against good boxers like Fayfer

Papin's best round of the fight. He managed to land some decent right hooks, but still Fayfer landed the better shots.
