Pick your versions from Alexis against Boza or Ganigan or whoever you want and Julio against Chapo. 15 rounds. Tony Perez ref.

Who you got and why? How does the momentum play? Early rounds? Late rounds if there are any?

    Chavez wins at lightweight imo.

    At 130, I'd take Alexis.

At 135 Arguello would have a very live chance at winning a decision

I picked arguello to take a decision but on second thought you’re probably right. Arguello was likely best at super feather

Great fight. I need to rewatch their fights before concluding whom i think would win. Its been a long time since i have seen either of these guys full fights.

Chavez breaks down the Thin Man's body. Chavez could obviously infight but he could also reach and fight long when necessary (see: Mayweather). And he was quicker and super efficient with his shots. A brutal fight with Julio taking out Alexis in the 12th.

JCC is a Joe Louis type at the low weights, mechanically proficient, all distances covered and a mind for every type of engagement -I’d pick JCC even if only because JCC was just a bit bigger then Alexis because all of the above applies to Alexis… I’d be unsurprised at every outcome of this fight LOL draw, SD, UD, TKO or KO I’d say “Yep”

I got Chavez by mid to late round stoppage. That smart pressure would take away Arguello's time and room he preferred to get his punches off. Alexis would connect square but find Chavez's chin more than sturdy.
Eventually JCC's wicked, relentless attack to both the body and head would breakdown Arguello. He was accurate and precise inside.
I think this was Chavez's best weight.
