I have not seen enough of Lockridge to give a honest answer here. Who wins this?

Arguello just has too many weapons, and Lockridge was dependent on getting inside and working. He'd have to eat too many big punches to have much of a thought of winning this, but he makes a go of it into the mid rounds. He'd crowd Arguello and smother him for a time, but ultimately Arguello begins creating distance with hooks to the body and uppercuts. Once he starts backing Lockridge off him he starts dropping in big rights and it won't take long after that. Ten rounds maybe.

I agree with the post and can feel your frustration. But I can't take it seriously in all caps and being pink! It makes me imagine a small boy screaming in a room full of important business men.

You know what? It's a thread that isn't about heavyweights. I'm in.

    Take your meds

He doesn't have to know a lot about Lockridge to ask the question. Perhaps you could offer your analysis regarding this rather intriguing matchup, rather than go off on a triggered rant.

Lockridge was strong for his size, tough as nails.
But he was merely a good/very good fighter. Arguello was a ATG, and could be considered an ATG and in the top 10-20 fighters at multiple different weight classes. Arguello was just a better fighter in all aspects of boxing than Lockridge. Outside, inside, mid range, skills, power, even foot work (Arguello's biggest drawback) was better than Lockridge. I'm not downplaying Lockridges ability, he was a heck of a fighter in his level.
But Arguello was a level or two above Lockridge .Arguello by unanimous and clear cut dec, or late stoppage . Lockridge would fight bravely. But it wouldn't make a difference.
