It definitely comes close, but not the best like it.

Yes, it's a better round IMO. More action, faster pace.

Hagler-Hearns is a MASSIVELY overrated fight IMO.

Arguello-Pryor 1 is in my top five fights of all time.

My current fave is the fight in my avi. It's just got something about it, maybe it's just a phase.

I can't even tell what fight it is to be honest.

Ohba-Chionoi. Indeed a great fight. Ohba could've reigned supreme (likely with a few hiccups here and there) for the duration of the 70's had he not met an early and unfortunate end. I'd bet good money on him taking the reigns from Canto.

Yeh, I think he could beat Canto. Has that jab and odd rythm. Its just the bigger punchers you have to worry about with him, as he was vulnerable, especially early, but was their anyone around that would be able to capitalise on this?

    Got it in one.

New poster? If so, welcome to ESB :good

Before he died he was looking to move up to Bantam. Whether he couldve competes againstthe likes of Rodolfo Martinez is something else, but at Fly I'd favour him to beat Canto.

Yes, it's one of the best opening rounds ever. The first rounds of Morales-Pacquiao 1 and Toney-Barkley are also amazing.

I'm not sure i consider it as good a 1st round as hagler vs Hearns, its close though. I definitely think it is a better all round fight and probably the best fight i've ever seen
