Arguello scores a few knockdowns to seal a comfortable decision win.

Arguello starts slow, Marquez would get his in early but by the 8th 9th round, the class and power of Arguello would become obvious. Stopping Marquez by the 10th 11TH RD, and up big on the scorecards. Alexis was just a step above...

Double A every time, and that is NOT a criticism of JMM, who is one of my favourite fighters.

Arguello would hurt him sometime during the fight. Might ,or might not, stop him, but he wins either way.

I agree. Alexis length, boxing skills and power at range will give Marquez huge problems. Alexis can keep JMM on the outside and control the pace where on a few occasions Alexis can time some huge straight rights that drop Marquez. JMM is a warrior and has the defensive skills to not get finished and start back his offense and last til the end. AA Clear UD

AA is 5'10 and 72' reach, JMM is 5'7 and 67' reach. That's a big physical disadvantage.

2 very intelligent fighters, but Arguello wins a decision. His precision punching and length would be the difference. JMM is going to be too far outside to counter him effectively enough to win. I don't see a knockout however.

OMG, an actual fantasy fight involving Arguello where he'd be favored - and by a lot! ;)
