El Flaco Explosivo! My favorite fighter of all time. However, I think sweet pea has it about right. The one possible way Alexis might win would be something like the Mancinni fight; a 15 rounder that Arguello was losing when he turned it around with an uppercut TO THE FREAKING CHEST! in round 13. Mancinni never recovered and the ref called the fight in the 14th round. Not that Boom Boom was in the same class with PBF, but on the other hand I don't know that Floyd has ever fought a 15 round fight, and that may be the clincher here. They didn't call them the championship rounds for nothing, and in a 15 rounder Alexis might manage to land the show stopper really late in the fight while he was way behind on all score cards. The guy was uncanny when it came to finding a way to win.

At 135, Alexis was slowing down. Floyd doesn't have the heavy hands of Ramirez, Ganigan or Pryor, but he does have better hand speed and accuracy.

I don't think Floyd would be able to hurt him and he would have to be very careful late. Arguello's power seems to be underrated in this thread considering that he took out both Olivares and Escalera (re) with single left hooks in the 13th.

At 135 and 12 rounds, Floyd stays away from Flaco's left and wins a safety first decision.
