Just outright RIDICULOUS beyond words, isn't it?

 

I'd take Pryor over Mosely any day. You can't even compare theri styles. Arguello was a killer at 135 and Pryor was great at 140. I think shane is a good fighter and would actually take him by KO over either Pacman or Mayweather with his combo of speed and snappingly crushing power. But I think he matured at welter and was a lot stronger tthan at 135. At 135 I take arguello.:hat

Mosely was an absolute beast @ 135...but is it fair to say that he was better at welter?...I think this is about as close to a draw as you can get in a fantasy match up...Mosely is bigger, faster, but he isn't the type to use his mobility to his advantage, he relished a toe to toe fight, he was very much in love with going to the body hard...At 135 Arguello was experienced, but with plenty in the tank. If I have to pick, I thik Arguello's jab creates the space, and respect enough for him to land some accurate eye catching shots.
Arguello by split decision. Experience playing a key factor.

 

Mosley ran out of ideas against capable Boxers, who could last the distance with him. Arguello was a very capable Boxer, who especially fed heartily off come forward fighters like Mosley. Arguello also carried enough pop to discourage Mosley further still and wasn’t unaccustomed to battling it out over fifteen rounds.

Arguello wins. A late stoppage victory is not inconceivable but Alexis would most likely clock-up a wide UD.

 

Argeullo by decision. He will force Mosely to trade. Mosely has the chin to survive the distance, though. Mosely was best at 147 lbs.

Arguello by late stoppage. Here's why, Mosley was like a 1 trick pony, and if plan A was taken away, he never seemed to have a plan B If you look at all of his losses, even early in his career, he always seemed to get that deer in the headlights look. I never saw him once adjust in a fight and come back and win. Sure he had a great chin, and was very fast at lightweigh t, but against a fighter like Arguello, or any ATG at that weight he would need the ability to adjust. I never saw him do that . He would trouble Arguello early, but as the fight wore on, the body punches from Arguello would began to slow him down, and one of those textbook right hands would land, and it would be the end of the night for S.Mosley.
