How do you see this fight? Gamboa is an explosive puncher with very quick overall movement, but would give up almost 5 inches in height and almost 7 inches in reach. Waaaaay too early to call. If I'm forced to say now I'd say it can't go the distance and I'd favor Arguello heavily.
Im a Gamboa fan too but kick back on comparing to him Arguello yet. Gamboa hasnt even beaten anyone of note, Arguello is an elite atg. As of right now Gamboa would get off fast and maybe even score a knockdown (if this is at 126) as Arguello could be a slow starter, but around the 4th Arguello would be countering Gamboa and hurting him hed finish off Gamboa in 6.
Agree. Gamboa has some serious skills but has shown enough vulnerabilities to make me favor Arguello, maybe by KO.
Gamboa doesn't look like he wants to hurt his opponent, when he lands big punches and shakes his opponent he seems to back up for a second to see if they drop or the referee steps in.
