Alexis is hurt in the ranking inthe same way Tommy Hearns is. Losing in such high profile fights on the big stage-their biggest stage is when they both lost. This hurt their legacies and it really was not fair. but that is how it works. Pryor and Ray and Marvin won and got the credit.

Great fighter. Not only does he pass the eye test, but look at all of the names of top guys on his resume, in several different weight divisions. He'd be a very tough out for any fighter from 126 - 135 in any era.

****, the desire to make excuses for Loma has really thrown a wrench in the gears for you General guys. It's weight classes, not reach classes, p4p not inch for inch.

If you want to discuss inch for inch put that in the title, not p4p.

Yeah. That used to be the take to make excuses for forum favourites like Duran, Toney or Kovalev (the second day weigh in was considered high way robbery by Canelo by the same guys that now lambast Haney and others as "weight bullies") but then the anointed TBE Lomachenko lost a couple of fights and all of a sudden weight bully became a thing and short reach became an actual excuse.

Do you actually understand the concept of weight and weight classes? Do you realise that you put p4p in the title, which stands for pound for pound, pound being a weight measurement and not a height or reach one?

If you want to have a discussion if Arguello is overrated in an inch for inch sense, then start a thread about that. Learn to understand what kind of discussion you yourself has started.

It especially isn't fair to Alexis considering Pryor was a disgraceful drug cheat who largely owes his success to Panama Lewis and his "sorcery".

I just opened the vote. 64-0 to Arguello was an all time great. Who in gods name would have thought?

    65-0

Arguello was a great, great Immortal. His style could be so poised yet ultimately destructive. In that sense he was like Sanchez (though a heavier hitter). It would have been History to see the two fight.
