Alexis Arguellos Top 10 wins

All good, but obvious picks, but one always stands out in my mind that impressed me no end, and that was Aguello's 1 round ko of Diego Alcala, who though may not have been one of AA's greatest opponents, it was a chilling and lethal example of how Alexis could put a guy to sleep. I think it was one or two shots, maybe three at the most, and Joe Louis was never any deadlier than Arguello was that night.

 

I feel Alexis got the right nod over Ramirez but it was close ... this being said, considering the bout he gave Alexix as well as his bouts with Rosario is there anyone but me who feels he dumped the one against Mancini ? I do ...

 

Surprised his starching of Kevin Rooney hasn't been mentioned yet. That was as sweet a measured right hand as there is footage of.

 

I was thinking of that one Duodenum, as I was mentioning the Alcala fight, as another example of a quick, clean icing. It's always fun watching that one, as is Alexis's clean and emphatic finishing off of Bill Costello.
