Headlining at Fantasy Springs Casino, nineteenth of July on DAZN. Ten rounds scheduled at welterweight.

Not an eliminator but could be a gateway to entering one for the winner. Both hold multiple top 15 major org world rankings. Rocha is rated #9 by the IBF & WBO, and #11 by the WBC; Domínguez is ranked #11 by the WBO and #14 by the WBA.

Big step up in class for the undefeated Mexican puncher, who is giving up two inches of height (reach is a push) and five years of youth against the SoCal southpaw.

That's a shiny record Dominguez has. I don't know if I have ever seen him fight (or if I did it wasn't memorable). 27-0 22 KOs no signature wins, only journeymen, 32 years old......may have to look at a YouTube fight or two of his.

I liked Lex on commentary. That’s about the main good thing I have to say about him. I wish him well though, hope he gets back on the saddle after the Santillian loss and makes 147 a bit more fun. Stick him in there with Sasaki or something idk. This fight won’t be up to much though I don’t reckon.

I looked into him 5 years ago when he was about to face Pitbull Rodríguez:

Before and then after the stoppage victory, the jury was still out as far as just how good a prospect he was:

Have barely heard a peep from him since. He most recently labored to a close UD over a 14-3 guy on the Zurdo-Goulamirian undercard:

He's a very basic banger. Rocha would ordinarily look set to cruise here, but there is still the question mark of how ruined his chin is after that demolition by Giovanni Santillán. I'm not sure his defeat of a shot Lawson provided all that much helpful insight there.

Sasaki's got Qamil Balla on the Inoue vs. Doheny undercard. Winner of this vs. winner of that would be nice.
