Irish heavyweight Niall Kennedy (9-0) upset Alexis Santos (18-2) in the headline fight of DiBella's Broadway Boxing card at Foxwoods tonight. Split decision (96-93 x2, 93-96). Santos has a point off in the ninth for low blows and had Kennedy hurt in the final minute of the tenth. Kennedy well worth the win though, technically a much better boxer, threw to the body well and slipped most of Santos's big shots. Very good fight. Two small heavyweights. Ievgen Khytrov won his comeback v Derrick Findley on the undercard.
