Alfonso Gomez or Oscar DLH? Who is Better?

True ive heard about Cotto fight Mayorga,Margarito and Gomez this year and Oscars much better then all 3 of them combined.

 

If Mayweather set his sights on Cotto and not Hoya, then Cotto would fight him. May is in the drivers seat.

 

Who else should Cotto be fighting?

 

Dunks Gomez is more accomplished than DLH ... Cotto is the best WW ever and he's going to knock PBF out ...

 

Cotto's last fight was against Mosely and after Gomez he'll be fighting the winner of Cintron/Margarito so cut him some slack. The point is--and I'm saying this as as fanof PBF and Mayweather--we should hold Mayweather to a higher standard. He is the number one P4P fighter and he should be facing the very best competition. Now, DLH is a helluva fighter, but PBF has been there/done that. Does anybody--other than the Oscar fanboys--really think Oscar will do better the second time around? Even with PBF Sr. in his corner? I didn't think so.

Now, chances are PBF would beat Cotto too, but until they fight we can't say for certain. Besides-which fight would be more exciting? PBF-Cotto or PBF-DLH II?

 

The difference between Cotto-Gomez and De La Hoya-Mayweather II is simple. One is nothing more than a tune up fight, being a prelude to a unification match. The other is a meaningless fight that will be hyped to no end as a "Major fight." If you can't see the difference between the two, then there's really no discussing this any further.

 

He already beat Mosley. I don't see why he should have to fight him again.

 

Many people think Oscar beat Floyd too? Do you agree with that? No, because it's all bull****. Not even Shane believes he won that fight.

 

Simple fact that people forget to mention is Cotto would be in line to fight Oscar if Floyd didn't. It makes sense money wise for Floyd to get another big payday and then fight Cotto. I think I am like most of you when I say I wish Floyd was fighting Cotto next but hell the fight should come down soon.
