Shane beat Oscar once in a very competitive battle that has gone on to become one of the sport's all time classics. Second time, Mosley lost and even in post fight interview was asked straight out if he thought he deserved the win. Mosley looked like he didn't.
Shane fought two close fights with Oscar(many believed Oscar won the second fight). In terms of talent, they're pretty close. No way in hell Shane would beat Floyd. That's a a terrible matchup for Mosley. To each their own though. If the fight ever gets made, I wouldn't suggest you put any money on Mosley.
I'm a boxing fan and I see talent when its right in front of me ... Torres is a dominating force at 140 and so is Malignaggi ... they are sure going to be undisputed champs some day. Cotto taken out the best European WW in Oktay Urkal ... and forget the fact that Judah lost to Baldomir and Mayweather ... he was at his best when he fought Cotto and on that night Judah couldve knocked out Floyd w/ one punch. Despite the low blows by Cotto he out boxed Judah and didn't have any cuts or anything. Don't let me forget SSM who is 100 times better than PBF and despite avoiding a fight w/ Mayweather 2wice - he's still better and would knock PBF out. I agree w/ you Freddie you know your stuff !!
Cotto Hasnt beat a welterweight for a title yet!!atsch :admin damn cotto fans are wild....i think they are worse then the Hatton-ittes
you love floyd more than he loves himself, he doesn't defend him the way you defend him. he says it straight up, yeah his fighting oscar de la hoya for the money, while you try and make excuses for him:rofl
BigReg what are you talking about man ... anyone that Cotto beat would kill Floyd in a fight. That includes Malignaggie, Torres, Quintana, Corley (PBF sparring partner) N'dou (another PBF sparring partner) Mosley (DLH sparring partner) and Judah (who clearly beat Floyd when they fought) - the accidental low blow against Floyd - hurt Judah's chances of getting the KO. Oktay Urkal (the best European WW) ... and Alphonso Gomez (Floyd would never win the contender)
Freddie you are a boxing guru ... Shane beat Oscar in his prime ... the only significant win throughout his whole resume. Why did Shane turn down a fight w/ Floyd twice? Turn down a fight w/ Margarito? then he turned down a 3rd fight w/ Oscar for a career high payday because he thought the second fight was fixed. He didn't follow his father's advise, instead he fired him, then re-hired him and now is fighting Judah in a crossroads fight !!
