Any1 agree i wasnt impressed with what i saw this morning he clearly lost 4 of the first 6 rounds to tito trinidad impersinator Joel Julio. I think Craig Mcewan has a very good shot at beating him,

I think he's ok but he's being moved along too quickly imo. The Cintron fight proved that to me. Maybe it's just because I don't hold Cintron in high regard idk.

He doesn't even have over 20 fights yet let him grow. Yes I too thought he was a poor man's Margarito but I like him and see good things for him. BTW Julio fought off the backfoot many times and Tito was more of a come forward/pressure fighter.

He's better technically. He throws shorter sharper punches and doesn't rely solely on his chin for defense. tough to say who is better yet.

Maybe the poor man who can't afford to load his gloves.

For me there's no discussing or comparison of legacies when it includes Margarito.

A real poor man's version. Margo is a lot better fighter, he has more gears, does not get fatigued, throws punches from more angles, though his punches are wider I believe against faster opponents he has the edge, and he has a better chin.

Angulo is nothing more than a fringe contender.

Yeah I agree. I noticed Angulo blocked a few punches too so he has a better defense, Marg has a better resume. Only other comparison to be made I guess.

I agree i thought Angulo was a better Margo with less volume but a lot more to his punches.

Margarito is his own poor mans Margarito. No one is aiming to emulate this cement handed zombie.

funny cause when he first started fighting, everybody said he was a better version of margarito.......his punch output has gone down a bit it seems, maybe the weight is affecting him

Yep. Wasn't Angulo one of the guys HBO was trying to MAKE a star out of along with Berto and Kirkland? I can't say too much for Margarito in light of everything, but assuming he wasn't having tainted gloves his entire career he had to come up the hard way.
