    Who you got?

Angulo by late TKO for me.

He has the better chin and it will be a battle of them because it would be all out war.

I'll take the taller, longer, stronger middleweight by points or late KO

Although I believe Pavlik has regressed since winning the title and needs to make up some ground in 2010, Angulo would be made for him. Angulo would be outgunned and would eat jabs and right hands until being stopped in the middle rounds.

This would be interesting. If Pavlik let Angulo get inside as easily as he let Espino get inside, he'd have some problems, since Angulo is certainly much more powerful and durable than Espino. Overall, though, I think Angulo is a little bit hittable for a guy who's so much taller and heavier, and who has the more proven chin and power.

As Hopkins said, I think there will be very few guys who can beat Pavlik at '60, and even fewer who can do it by trading.

Pavlik let Espino inside because he knew he had no power, with Angulo PAvlik will pump those 1-2's all night on El Perrito

    That's a little ignorant-of-an-answer, don't you think?

I've become rather skeptical of Pavlik with the last year or so that we have (and haven't) seen of him, but Angulo is nothing. First of all Angulo is slow of both foot and hand speed. Secondly, he comes straight forward. Both of these things play completely into Pavlik's hands. I really don't see anyone at 160 or below that can beat Pavlik if they are a come forward brawler. Especially Angulo, who imo is not even top ten at 154, much less 160.

Pavlik chews him up within 6 rounds. It really would just come down to how much punishment Angulo can take before he is either KO'd or his corner stops the fight.

pavlik too strong for angulo. angulo does have a great chin, but they are both easy to hit and neither are slick. i think he'll make pavlik work for the victory and both have good stamina. alot of fireworks and toe to toe action. pre-hopkins pavlik by tko but if they fought today pavlik by decision. angulo not great, but an above avg fighter with decent skills and iron chin

Pavlik gets a hangnail on the way to the ring and asks to reschedule

It is perfectly appropriate to postulate fantasy match ups on ESB, and then speculate on how such a fight might play out. This match-up however, is pure fantasy, and provides little basis for any real debate.

Angulo is exactly the type of fighter that makes Pavlik look good. KP is bigger, stronger, faster, hits harder, and boxes better than Angulo. Pavlik could go to war with Angulo and beat seven shade of **** out of him, or he could make Angulo look like an idiot for 12 rounds. Thus, my earlier statement that Pavlik wins this whenever and however he chooses.

These are not listed in their ranking at 154, but rather just a sample of who I think is better at 154-

    Paul Williams
    Shane Mosley
    Kermit Cintron
    Yuri Foreman
    Daniel Santos
    Sergio Martinez
    Deandre Latimore
    Cory Spinks
    V. Martirosyan (great things coming up for this guy)
    Joachim Alcine

You could also include some guys at 147 (like I did with Shane) and 160 who are able and have in the past fought at 154. IMO Angulo is a gatekeeper at best at 154-160. Everytime he steps up to a top five level fighter, he's going to lose. I don't expect his career to last very long either due to the amount of punishment he has to take to win.

Pavlik ****s him up. Angulo's style is made for Pavlik.
