The Angulo of right now vs the pre-Duran Davey Moore... who wins?

Too early to say, but not unreasonable to think Angulo could top what Davey did in terms of accomplishments, but I can't help but think the style matchup is all wrong for Angulo.

Exactly. People forget just HOW Green Davey Moore was before Duran fought him. In a way, he was like David Reid, he won the title WAY too early, and it put at a level of competition that was way above his level of preparation/development.

I'd have to say I like Kirkland and Angulo and can't wait to see them fight one day and as far as Moore beating Angulo I see it 50-50 because Angulo can be outboxed but his pressure is relentless.

Moore was a very good fighter for a guy so young in his career, and if he hadn't gotten ruined in the Duran fight might have become a 'great' fighter. I would favor him over Angulo, who probably could never catch him and would just get solidly outboxed the whole way. Kirkland imho is due to be exposed and certainly would be by Moore.

at this stage moore would dominate angulo to an easy and wide UD but who knows in a few years what angulo will become.
