now this is a fight i want to see! i think its a bigger test for kirkland tho b/c of his lack of defense
Kirkland by easy KO. Angulo's handspeed is not enough to keep Kirkland off him and his chin is shaky.
I have not seen much of Angulo but from what i have seen and from what i have heard of other people he appears to have a solid chin. If anything i would say Kirkland was the chinny one.
two undefeated fighter with alot of pop and a great knock record. james 23-0 with 20 kos angula 14-0 with 11 kos. combine record of 37-0 with 31 kos.. on boxrec angula is rank 8 while kirkland is rank 11. ill leave it for others to argue. angulo last five opponents record combine is 97-10-1 with 63 kos. and he listed on boxrec to fight a guy name craig mcewan whos 12-0 with 7 kos. while kirkland last five is 100-15-3 with 62 kos. no listing who kirkland is in against next. though it boxrec and angula opponent can change but their records are usually right far as who they fought.
tough fight to call..and it would be a war. I could see either winning by KO probably before the 8th round
Craig McEwan is a nice prospect if the fight comes off could be a real interesting contrast of styles.
Kirkland is a KO waiting to happen but something I noticed in Angulo's last fight is that he's slow as hell. I give Kirkland the edge in that ... add to that, Angulo cuts.
