He was not wobbling in that fight and he stopped Cortes in the 2nd round.

I would love to see this fight.. I pick Kirkland, speed, and I think he is the harder puncher of the two.. Angulo, better chin and busier.. But Kirkland is straight ferocious. He reminds me of a young Tyson in some ways..

Agreed. Whomever lands the first big shot wins. Angulo has been wobbled before, Kirkland has been down before, both are active and both have pop.

I'll go with the sharper punching Angulo within the distance...possibly (likely) getting off the canvas to do it.

You don't need blazing hand speed if you are technically sound.

I suspect Angulo would win by mid-to-late rounds TKO, but it would be a damn entertaining fight and is near the top of the list of fights I want to see.

No, he's just not quick at all. A lot of Angulo's tools are very ordinary, but he's very skilled and loves to go to war. He kind of reminds me of a rich man's Jose Antonio Rivera.

Angulo by TKO. Kirkland has a handspeed edge over Angulo, but thats it. Angulo is tougher, has better technique, less holes in his defense, a better chin, and probably better stamina. It would a BRUTAL fight, but I see Kirkland getting stopped late.

Pick em fight. Most people seem to assume Angulo would win because of Kirkland being dropped by Conyers and stunned against Cortes. But they seem to forget, Angulo was stunned against Shark Attack and wobbled badly by Gutierrez. Neither who hit anywhere as hard as Kirkland. I'd say Kirkland has just as good a chance of KOing Angulo as vice versa. Either way, I don't see it going past 6 rounds.
