Is Rhodes the least 'hated' Brit fighter on here?

    Hope he gets his shot.

Maximum respect for Rhodes in the second coming of his boxing career...:yep

How he has kept to the weight for so long is testament to his ability, dedication, determination and discipline...:deal

Might be worth a thread in it's own this topic...:good

I would fancy Angulo strong either Rhodes corner end it late or ref steps in. Around 8/9.

    Pretty one-sided so far.

Rhodes definitely won't allow Angulo to tee off on him like Alcine did - his movement and awkward stance will make Angulo a bit more cautious for fear of getting hit with counters.

The one thing that concerns me a bit about Rhodes.... mainly because he's not been tested for quite a while in this respect is his stamina - he outlasted Moore which was great, but that was over 7 rounds.... Coyle and Vuma took him the 12 but were largely toyed with and aren't as good as Moore was.

Maybe Dave can enlighten us as to what to expect

Angulo would destroy Rhodes the kid is just relentless. Don't get me wrong I'm a Rhodes fan but it takes a HELL of alot to keep Angulo off you and once he smells blood he just doesn't let up. He's a more powerful version of Margarito without handwraps.

I used to be massively critical of Angulo; but he seems to have refined his power shots somewhat, making up for his abysmal handspeed.

He's exciting, and comes to fight; not 100% certain he's iron chinned, but looks capable of mixing it up at least.

    Cintron-Angulo II is vital.

Rhodes-Angulo is a perfect match-up; if Rhodes admires his own work and gets involved like he did against Jamie Moore, I reckon Angulo will break him down, even though Rhodes' durability is proven. I'd fancy Rhodes to last the distance and punch out a wafer thin decision. He'd have to be at his best, but Angulos plodding nature will not change anytime soon.

Lets not make any mistakes; Alcine didn't perform to his best, and Angulo was recently outmanouvered by Cintron of all people.
