    I'll go with Angulo

El Perro has improved a fair bit since his loss to Cintron, and I think Canelo is a bit too raw to beat Angulo right now. Although it would be a close fight. I think Alvarez would probably beat Angulo and most of the top 154 pounders within a years time.

I have chin questions about El Gingero in addition to his greenness. That wouldn't make me confident about an Angulo fight for sure.

I know what your saying, and the Cotto fight didn't exactly help his cause. The kid still has a few problems that eh needs to iron out before he steps up to teh top level.

Promising as hell though...Yet I hate him because of the amount of vCash I lost betting on the over for his Baldomir fight.:twisted::twisted:

Angulo would stop him. angulo is ready for a title shot now.

alvarez is still fighting bloated 40 year olds with 12 losses

i think alvarez should fight someone like alcine, quintana, santos

it wont prove a right lot but it is a step up and will help his resume, he could then look at a current contender.

If this fight went down today, I'd take Angulo by K.O.
It's obvious the Kid (Alvarez) ain't ready for a ****en OX like Alfredo yet.

The thing.... Angulo is what he is. He's not gonna get any better, he's in his prime right now. Alvarez is only 20, and is pre-prime. The safe pick right now is Perro, because he's more seasoned and figures to have the power and strength to wear Canelo down. But Canelo has a HUGE edge in speed, and skill already..... and if he catches the no defense having Angulo with the type of hook that put away Bumlomir, I think Perro would be in a world of trouble.

Within a year I think it'll be pretty clear that Alvarez will stop him. It'll be like Vargas-Campas was. Alot of people thought Yory Boy would be too strong for the "green" Vargas, but Nando's speed and skill set just overwhelmed the slow ass Campas. It could be the same with Alvarez-Angulo.

at this point Angulo.. its too soon to feed Canelo to the lions and he will go toe to toe with a master at that game.Angulo can be outboxed easily but never overpowered.
