I saw that boxrec has taken down the scheduled fight of Dzinziruk vs. Collazo... that could leave a chance for him against contender Alfredo Angulo.. this fight was proposed sometime ago.. This is a deep division so I'd rather see this fight than the Collazo fight.. Collazo is good but give me a break, let's put the top vs the top... Realistically, I think Dzinziruk would seriously jabfest Angulo into submission or straight out outbox him.. but I'd rather see Angulo win.. so I'm going to say Angulo in a very close and well fought UD...
The scheduled fight for Dzinziruk was against Mayorga, not Collazo. :huh Besides, Angulo won't fight Dzinziruk and would lose badly if he did.
What is it with professional boxers these days, when did challengers start ducking champions because it's "too hard"?
So would the Martinez fight that was offered to Angulo, as well as nearly $1,000,000. If Alfredo doesn't take a high risk - high reward fight against Martinez, then he's not going to take a high risk - low reward fight against Sergei.
But after beating Joel Julio earlier in the year, his management said they wanted a fight with Sergei.. that's what they "said".. and he owns a share of the WBO title that Sergei owns.. so it would only make sense but yeah, his response to the Martinez contract speaks of where his mind is... which isn't being the best
