On www.boxingtalk.com link http://boxingtalk.com/pag/article.php?aid=20518 that Angulo is an illegal resident and is about to be deported back to Mexico. They state his HBO days are gone as well.

This sucks I'm a huge fan of Angulo's and I hope if is a problem he gets it fixed. Also is this posted on any other sites or do anybody no more about this?

I'm a fan of Angulo as well, but there is no excuse for him. I don't support Illegal immigration, so deporting him is the right think to do.

Maybe he can fight Serigei Dzinziruk in Serigei home country, or fight Sergio Martinez in Argentina. That way if he wins against the mentioned fighters, he can have a belt and contenders will have to go fight him in Mexico.

Dude, their is no way he can fix his problem. This is the second time he's been deported. I could be wrong but I think he's a felon now. You can't get a visa or a resident card or anything like that.

I'm hearing rumors that legally he'd have to wait 10 years to reapply for a US Visa, because he was deported twice. I'm really disappointed, I was looking forward to his career. Hopefully he can still get some good fights in Mexico.

Angulo-Alvarez is one I'd love to see a couple years down the line.

Angulo will be fine. Whether he fights in the states or not. Boxing is huge in Mexico and if he keeps winning, there will be plenty of fights to be made. His name is already cemented as a top jr middleweight so I doubt he'll be ignored.

As far as that whole immigration problem goes, it's all about people knowingly taking risks. I'm sure he knew the possible consequences of his actions and now he must face them. No big deal, it's part of everyday life. We all take risks.

Not when everyone is avoiding this illegal immagration thing like the plague, due to the current political situation. Nobody is going to want to touch him.

but I do hope your right, Freddy.

Boxing is big in Mexico but the big fights take place in the USA. Not only that but HBO and Showtime won't air any of his fights for political reasons. He'll be stuck fighting for telefutura and such.

True. I wonder how much a fighter like Cochul Montiel makes when fighting in Mexico. Angulo should pull in similar purses.

Well the difference is Montiel is a Belted Champ, Angulo is yet to be at that level.

Well, he got beat by Cintron. It's not as though he is a top 50 P4P fighter.
