At first glance it looks like Prov is controlling the fight but that is an illusion Algieri was controlling the fight indirectly on the backfoot, by not giving Prov what he wanted. Boxing on the backfoot is an art , again a say to anybody who cannot appreciate this to go find another sport of interest
well he defenitly need to work a lot harder because of that....im sure many have tough of retiring because of that!he would need a great defense not just good but GREAT defense and great chin so he doesnt get wobbled all the time because honestly even if you land 10 even 15 weak pillow punch and the other guy make you do the chicken dance with one hook even if you dont go down you defenitly lost the exange!!!
The two home town judges gave the decision to Algiera and the one neutral judge gave it to Provodnikov, so did I. When do you ever see a fighter with a closed eye that he can't see out of allowed to continue to fight? If this is the rule, then there are a lot of other fights that should be rematched ASAP.
Did remarkably well for a one eyed, no amateur background feather fisted fighter. Or maybe Prov just wasn't good enough.:huh
