Algieri is a great win for Pac

You should be banned from talking about boxing no offense. The reason I say that because saying Pac beating Chris easily is a great win? LMFAO Really? That's like saying Mayweather easily beat Guerrero was his best win lol. Algieri is nothing more then a c level fighter. Chris got a gift win over Prov. Chris got good skills but he cant punch and he's not a real good boxing defender. Chris I don't think is better then Maidana. Look whoever thought Chris had a great chance of beating Pacquiao should never talk about boxing ever again.

I disagree. Tim Lane robbed Pacquiao of a great win by keeping Chris in the cage the whole fight. A Chris out of the cage, good win. A caged up Chris for 12 rounds, baby food.:deal

If we are talking the merit of opponents in general, I can give you more than 10, but I'm guessing you could do it easily too.

 

He looked good winning. But, it was just a decent win. Algeri's game plan was to give up the first 4 rounds and be "let out his cage" in the 10th???? That does not sound like a fighter or a corner that was near ready to be in there with an ATG fighter and trainer.

Algeri put the 'run' in runner. And we call a guy like Lara a runner? At least Lara took forward steps and looked to be in control in several rounds, against Canelo. Algeri looked like an acrobat in there with a tiger, carrying a lit stick of dynamite in his teeth, as opposed to a man 5 inches shorter, and older, who has been hurt by guys his own size.

He simply did not look like he deserved to be in there. I could name several other fighters at 140 who would at least come to fight. But, of course, we won't see those fights.

 

This fight was a complete waste of money. Only bought cause Im a fan of Manny. Stop fooling yourself Algieri is ****.

 

Great win??? How gullible do you think viewers are? You mean pretty easy win over an very easy hand picked opponent. The kid only had 20 fights (no amateur). And he still went the distance which was what he was trying to do.
