    Aren't you forgetting the miracle Garcia performed on Maidana that turned him into an A level fighter from a journeyman literally overnight? Ask any Floyd fan...they will confirm this.

    Algieri vs Crawford is awesome, I hope it gets made.

    I don't think Roach/Algieri is a good fit. Roach needs power punchers because he doesn't train a lot of defense, they need power to make up for it. That's why he failed with Khan but it successful with Provo or Pac.

    Sarcasm, I know. But Garcia did improve Maidana. Did he turn him into an A level fighter? No. What he did was take what Maidana was already doing and added focus and technique to it. He taught Maidana how to set traps, time his shots better, set up punches, etc. He didn't turn Maidana into an elite fighter, he took that "caveman" brawler and gave him technique. When the fight was announced, I didn't like it, I thought Floyd would shut him out 12-0 but it turned out to be highly competitive. Although the rematch was unnecessary.

    he did have the creds going into the pacquaio fight was a champion was coming of 2 big wins say what you want but he is a talented fighter

    No, he did not have the creds for a Pacquiao fight. Are you telling me the standards for fighting Pacquiao is lower than the standards for fighting Mayweather? And if so, why?

    You said TWO big wins, Taylor and Provo. Taylor just lost to Broner, you consider Broner a bum, so what does that make Taylor? How is that a big win for Algieri then?

    LOL the Ghost is way more credible than Chris, WAY more credible. Ortiz is arguable, the main reason Floyd fought him was for the ppv numbers (1.25m). Algieri/Pac sold 250k LOL!
