Actually Ortiz and Guerrero are better opponents, credential-wise, than Algieri.

    Stop making **** up. Bradley-Pac 2 did 750k, Floyd/Maidana 2 did 925k.
Also Pac/JMM did 1.15m, 1.4m was the third fight where Marquez got robbed. Idiot.
    Floyd vs Guerrero did 1m+.

You cant say Algieiri is ESPN level .

Once again you picked Algeiri out of everyone in boxing to give Floyd the closest fight or possibly even beat him

You said Floyd wins 115/113 or Algieiri wins 115/113 . This was all before before Pac/Algeiri took place .

I don't care what happened against Manny , all because he proved not to be a formidable opponent against Pac, does not mean hes an ESPN level fighter .

You said the only thing is good about Algeiri is his heart ? yet a couple of months ago you were praising his style .

Algeri - Algieri's style is enough to trouble Floyd pretty bad actually. He's got the height, reach, and footwork to stay outside and pepper Floyd with jabs, leaving him very little to counter. We'd see Floyd step up his activity, cut the ring off, and lure Algieri into some traps. This would be a very tactical fight with Floyd playing stalker at times but ultimately winning a majority/split decision via snoozer. 115-113 Mayweather/Algieri

Manny whooped him , Now your whole opinion on this dude is completely different .

In another thread which was made after the fight you made a post saying how Floyd would do the same exact thing against Algeiri minus the knockdowns .

    Come on now...

Quick question , when Canelo lost nearly every round to Floyd , did you come on here the next day and say Canelo is ESPN level ??

    I just want to know...

I've already answered this. I can be wrong and can admit wrong and I've also reassessed. I picked Algieri to trouble him and I said if he can stay at range. Algieri doesn't seem to fight to those strengths. If he uses his physical abilities properly, then yes, he can absolutely beat Floyd. ESPN level or not. And I never said he was higher than that.

My point then and now and I stand by it, Algieri has the physical tools to beat Mayweather but he does not fight to those strengths. If he did, I could see him getting by with a decision. In no way shape or form do I consider him elite.

Pacquiao, 9 times out of 10, beats Algieri better than Floyd ever could.

Edit: my assessment then was assuming Algieri fights to his strengths, which he does not.

    Alright , Fair Enough .

Yet I feel you been trying your hardest to belittle Mannys recent win as much as possible lately .

Anyway you and I both know Algeiri brings a lot more than just heart into the ring .

Stylistically hes going to be a difficult fight for anyone 140-147 .

Looking at the majority of WWs today , His constant movement and his jab and boxing ability will trouble most of em .

I personally don't see Algeiri losing for a long time...

Unless that embarrassing loss to Manny ruins him mentally .

I know he brings more than heart. I don't mean to belittle Manny's victory. While I find Manny's performance and execution amazing in that fight, the value that I personally give him for that win is relatively small vs his previous opponents/victories.
