This is one fight I still pick Algieri in. I have never rated Broner very highly at the higher weights and ith his plodding style and not so impressive style I can see Tim Lane letting Algieri out of the cage in this one.
Tough one to call. Agreed, if Tim Lane lets Algieri out of the cage in, say, round 3 it could make for an entertaining fight.
Yeah can't afford to wait any long than 3 or 4 rounds to let him out in future. I think Tim is used to Karate where they have 13 rounds so was waiting until the last round to let him out.
As much as I hate Broner, he's too fast for Algeri. Algeri has very poor reflexes and balance. He's always on wobbly legs.
Really Broner too fast? He looks like he is moving under water most the time when fighting at world class to me. Never got all this about Broner's 'speed', his uppbody movement is ok but his feet are terrible which spells disaster against a rangey mover like Algieri.
broner is flat footed as hell.and his power isn't as good pac's or ruslan to trouble algieri.if anything algieri would be too fast for broner.:deal
