    The 33 year old Muhammad Ali of the third Frazier fight v Jersey Joe Walcott of the first Louis bout.

    And the Joe Louis of the first Walcott fight v the Thrilla in Manilla Frazier.

    I see wins for JJW on points and a stoppage win for Louis (championship rounds) over a game but marked up Smokin' Joe.

    I see Ali outpointing Walcott narrowly. If it had been one year on (1976 for Ali and 1948 for Walcott) I'd have gone with Jersey Joe by close points verdict.

    I agree with you about Frazier and Louis.
