Ali of 76, still champ but showing the signs of slowing down still able to get win s over the contender s of the time. Facing holy field of 99, ready to face Lewis in a unification match. Could this ali defeat holy field at this point or would the real deal do a spinks on the greatest??
I actually think Holyfield is a hard matchup for Ali. He was a good technical fighter that could do everything well and had a massive heart. Ali still has his usual advantages but it's not inconceivable that Holyfield wins.
Certainly isn't at this time of ali career. Norton, frazier and shavers were all given him hard fights round about this period. Holy field of course was not quite finished yet and would go on to be a belt holder yet again but I thought it would be interesting to see if other s actually thought ali as this stage could actually beat the real deal. Norton and frazier were really just a few few years younger than Ali and gave Ali hell so could a similar aged holy field do the same
